Who we are

A team built around the meaning behind the words.

OMADA means “team” in Greek. That is how we approach complex multilingual work: specialists collaborate, decisions are documented and the final text is made for its real audience.

Our roots go back to 1991. Today we support companies, institutions and language partners with translation, localization, revision, terminology management, MTPE and linguistic quality assurance. From Greece, we work across languages and sectors where accuracy, consistency and context matter.

01

Built for the intended reader

We consider the audience, market and purpose before choosing the words and the workflow.

02

Ready for scrutiny

Legal, medical, technical and institutional content receives the subject-matter attention it requires.

03

Clear from brief to delivery

Project coordination, terminology and review help keep multilingual content consistent as it grows.

The foundations of our work

A considered process for demanding content.

Language technology helps us manage scale and consistency. Experienced people remain accountable for the decisions that matter.

Subject-matter understanding

The detail is the work.

A clinical document, a legal filing and a product launch ask different things of a translator. We match the content with suitable linguistic and sector expertise, then define how it will be checked.

That means respecting terminology, register, references and the context in which the translated material will be used.

Human expertise + technology

Tools support the team. The team owns the result.

Translation memories, terminology resources and language technology can improve continuity. We select the right workflow for the material, including revision, MTPE and AI-output review where appropriate.

A specialist checks the output against the brief and the source, with attention to meaning, tone, formatting and usability.

Terminology

Agreed terms carry through documents, teams and release cycles.

Quality review

The work is reviewed in proportion to its purpose and risk.

Sector focus

We draw on legal, EU, medical, technical and financial experience.

Partnership

One brief, clear communication and a team you can work with again.

Our story

Greek roots. A multilingual outlook.

OMADA’s story began in 1991, as clients increasingly needed language work that could handle context, specialist terminology and the consequences of every document.

Since 1991, we have supported multilingual projects for institutional and private clients. We participated in European Commission translation services contracts through 2019, and since 2017 have undertaken two translation and two terminology contracts with the Translation Centre for the Bodies of the European Union (CdT). Our network covers European languages and additional language directions, including Arabic, Chinese, Farsi, Urdu and Turkish.

As content became digital and multilingual, the work expanded to include terminology control, revision workflows, MTPE, AI-output review and linguistic QA. The constant is our focus on making complex content accurate, consistent and useful.
