On 10 June 2022, OMADA’s Managing Director Dimitris Moutafis gave a guest lecture to students of the Department of English Language and Literature at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens ↗. The invitation came through the Specialized Translation & Terminology course taught by Effrossyni Fragkou.
He described OMADA’s journey from its beginnings in 1991, how the company works with freelance linguists, and the skills graduates need to enter the language industry.
The visit connected classroom study with the practical decisions and relationships behind a translation business. You can read more about OMADA’s story and team on our About OMADA page.
