Cookie Policy
The digital kind of cookies: what helps this site work, what you can choose, and how to change your mind.
We use a small number of cookies to keep this website working securely and, if you choose, to remember your language. These are browser cookies, not the chocolate-chip kind. Here is exactly what the current OMADA site does. Last updated: 31 October 2026.
What are cookies?
A cookie is a small piece of information stored by your browser when you visit a website. It can help a service keep you signed in or remember a choice. Session cookies generally expire when the browser session ends. Persistent cookies remain until their set expiry or until you delete them. Your browser lets you inspect and remove both kinds.
Which cookies do we use?
Strictly necessary
Our hosting provider may set technical security cookies that protect the website against misuse. Their names and retention are set by the hosting platform, rather than by OMADA’s page code. Once you make a cookie choice, our first-party omada_cookie_choice cookie remembers whether you selected “necessary only” or opted into language memory for up to six months. It exists so that we can respect your choice without asking on every page.
Functionality: your language
Only if you select “Remember my language”, we set a first-party omada_lang cookie for up to six months. It records only en or el, updates when you switch language, and opens the preferred language on a later visit to the home page. Choosing “Necessary only” removes it. We do not use it to track which articles or services you view.
Performance and advertising
The current site does not set performance analytics, advertising or social-media tracking cookies. Such cookies can help a site measure visits or tailor ads, but no such tool is active here. If we add non-essential analytics or similar tools, we will update this policy and ask for the required choice before setting them.
How we use cookies and your choice
Necessary cookies support the access or choice function you request. The language cookie is optional and is set only after you choose it. You can reopen the choices using the button below and switch to “Necessary only” at any time; that removes the optional language cookie. We do not rely on a general claim of legitimate interest to set optional tracking cookies without a choice.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. If you block necessary cookies, some features, such as remembering your cookie choice, may not work as expected.
Quote tools and other site features
The indicative price calculator works in your browser without a cookie. When you submit the quote form, your details and files are sent to our team by email; the form itself does not set a cookie. Reading our blog, case studies or service pages does not set a tracking cookie. Server access and security logs are different from browser cookies. External sites opened through links have their own practices.
How to check or delete cookies
Use your browser’s privacy or site settings to inspect cookies for this domain, delete them or block future storage. Deleting omada_cookie_choice will make the choice panel appear again. If you delete omada_lang, the site will stop remembering your language until you choose that feature again. Deleting browser cookies does not erase information already held in server logs or an email enquiry.
