Railway teams rely on precise language when reading technical descriptions and diagnostic guidance. We translated Italian railway terminology and explanatory material into English and Greek.
Technical distinctions matter
A single term may name one of several things:
- a component
- a fault
- an operating condition
- a corrective action
Closely related concepts need to remain distinct, especially when an explanation helps a reader interpret a diagnostic result.
Control the terms, then explain them
We mapped recurring Italian terms to consistent English and Greek equivalents and considered each in its technical context. Explanations were shaped to make the relationship between a diagnosis and the related guidance clear.
Revision then checked two points:
- Stability: terms remained consistent across entries.
- Equivalence: both target languages expressed the same underlying technical meaning.
Reusable guidance in two target languages
The resulting terminology and explanations support readers who need to understand railway concepts and diagnostic information in English or Greek.
Consistency that supports decisions
Clear definitions and stable equivalents help technical teams communicate more reliably across languages and documents.
