Omada is led by Dimitris Moutafis, Managing Director since 2015. His work brings together professional translation, terminology management, linguistic QA, MTPE, AI-output review and multilingual project coordination, with particular experience in EU, legal, technical, medical, financial and regulated content.
His background combines translation practice, language technology, terminology work and digital communications. He has been active in professional translation and terminology bodies and is currently pursuing doctoral research at the Ionian University with a focus on machine translation and terminology.

Omada’s story began in 1991, when professional translation was becoming more than the transfer of words between languages. Businesses, institutions and public bodies needed language work that could handle context, terminology, legal precision and the real-world consequences of every document.
From the beginning, Omada was built around a demanding principle: language work should be accurate, structured and useful. Not decorative. Not generic. Not treated as an afterthought.
As content became digital, multilingual and increasingly technology-driven, Omada evolved with it. Translation memories, terminology control, revision workflows, MTPE, AI-output review and linguistic QA became part of how serious language work is planned and delivered.
Today, Omada is a distributed team of translators, revisers, terminologists, project managers and language technology professionals supporting Greek and multilingual content across legal, technical, financial, medical, institutional, EU and IP-related domains.
