


Dimitris Moutafis is the Managing Director of Omada since 2015. He specializes in translation, localization, terminology management, linguistic QA, MTPE and AI-output review, with strong experience in EU, legal, technical, medical, financial and regulated content. He has served as Treasurer of the Panhellenic Association of Translators, is active in the Hellenic Society for Terminology and the International Network for Terminology, and is a PhD candidate at the Ionian University, focusing on machine translation and terminology.


Omada’s story began in 1991, when founder George Katdarakis saw that professional translation was becoming more than the transfer of words from one language to another. Businesses, institutions and public bodies needed language partners who could understand context, terminology, legal precision and the real-world consequences of every translated document.
